Some people choose their career.
Others stumble into it almost by accident — and only realise years later that the path was waiting for them all along.

For me, magic began in 2006. I was a teenager discovering sleight-of-hand, illusions, and that strange power you get when you make someone feel something unexpected. Back then, it wasn’t a plan, a business idea, or even a dream job. It was simply something that fascinated me — a world where curiosity and wonder were allowed to exist without explanation.

I performed occasionally at private events, mostly for friends of friends. It was fun, lighthearted, and spontaneous. I never imagined it could become anything more than a hobby. My “real life” was elsewhere: I became a manager in consulting, working long hours, living the structure and pressure of the corporate world. Magic stayed in the background — a passion I carried quietly, almost secretly.

But life sometimes taps you on the shoulder in unexpected ways.

The Moment Everything Shifted

In 2019, I performed at a big corporate event. A warm gathering where the energy felt right. At the end of the evening, the client came to me, smiling, and said a sentence that genuinely changed the course of my life:

“Can you send me an invoice?”

An invoice.
Such a simple, practical request… and yet it triggered something massive.

I remember thinking:
“If I need to make an invoice… then maybe this isn’t just a hobby anymore.”

So I started researching.
How do self-employed artists in France work? What is the right structure? What does it mean to be a professional performer?

That one client unknowingly pushed me to take myself seriously — and to give magic the space it had always deserved in my life.

From Passion to Profession

Once I officially stepped into the professional world, everything changed.
Not instantly — but gradually, consistently, and with a feeling of alignment I had never experienced before.

I had the privilege to perform at exceptional events, both intimate and grand.
I met incredible organizers, couples, corporate teams, and creative people who made me feel like magic truly mattered.

What amazed me the most wasn’t the size of the events or the prestige.
It was the connections.

Magic creates a very specific bond — personal, human, and emotional. It’s one of the few art forms where you get to stand right in front of someone, look them in the eyes, and share a moment that exists only once. No rewind. No screens. No filters.

Throughout the years, I’ve built relationships that went far beyond the performance:

  • People I stay in touch with years later
  • Clients who became friends
  • Event planners who trusted me with their most important productions
  • Couples who invited me to the happiest day of their lives
  • Teams who wanted to bring magic into their corporate culture

Every encounter shaped me, both as an artist and as a person.

Why I Keep Doing It

Today, when I look back, leaving the stability of consulting for the unpredictability of performing might sound like a radical decision on paper.
But in reality, it felt natural — almost inevitable.

Magic has given me:

  • A career built on creativity and emotion
  • A way to connect with people from all around the world
  • Experiences I would never have lived in a traditional path
  • A sense of purpose that aligns with who I truly am

What started as a passion in 2006 became a profession in 2019…
and a life mission ever since.
